Recruiter Hustle
Editorial Standards
Recruiter Hustle covers the people who move Southern California business. This page explains how we decide what to cover, how we handle paid partnerships, and where the lines are.
We publish this because you should not have to guess.
Editorial independence
Every story on this site is chosen by our editorial desk. Coverage is never sold, never traded, and never conditioned on a business relationship of any kind.
That means:
- Payment does not buy independent coverage.
- Declining a partnership does not cost you coverage.
- Advertisers, sponsors, and clients receive no influence over what we report or how we report it.
- We do not publish recycled press releases as news.
If a company is covered here, it is because the move mattered to this market.
Sponsored and partner content
Recruiter Hustle sells clearly defined commercial products: executive and company features, newsletter sponsorship, and event partnerships. These fund independent journalism. They do not shape it.
All paid placements are labeled at the top of the content, before you read a word of it, using one of the following:
Labels are never removed, never made subtle, and never buried at the bottom. Sponsored content is excluded from our People Moves tracker, our market intelligence reporting, and awards consideration.
If you cannot tell whether something is paid, that is our failure. Tell us and we will fix it.
Executive search and coverage
Recruiter Hustle operates an executive search practice alongside its editorial platform. We are direct about that because pretending otherwise would be worse.
The rule: search relationships do not generate coverage, and coverage does not generate search obligations.
- Being a search client does not earn a company editorial coverage.
- Being covered does not require, imply, or lead to a commercial recruiting relationship.
- We do not use editorial access as a sourcing channel for search assignments.
- Confidential search information is never used in reporting.
Our credibility is the only asset in this business that cannot be rebuilt. We are not trading it for a fee.
Sourcing
People Moves and market intelligence are built from public filings, company announcements, verified professional records, and direct confirmation where possible. We report what we can substantiate. When something is reported elsewhere and we cannot independently verify it, we say so.
Corrections
We get things wrong. When we do, we correct the record publicly and note what changed.
